It was 3 am last Friday when a loud bang woke me up and reminded me of the fact that beautiful hot summer weather in the Netherlands rarely goes without thunderstorms. Just the day before I was working from the garden table and posted this picture on Instagram as the view from my “open office”.

The view from my open office

This summer I’ve spent a fair amount of time working on the business instead of in the business. As an entrepreneur you regularly need to look forward to where business is going and adjust priorities.

Sometimes when people ask me what I do I tell them that “I ask questions” and that sums it up pretty well. I ask questions that will help you move forward, questions to create better insights in your challenges and questions to find out what you’ve already done so far.

There are suggestions I make, but often even these come in the form of a question. A question to find out if you’ve already thought about a potential way forward. Questions often lead to a collaborative exploration of that way forward. Call it advice, but advice is never a one way street.

Questions, questions, questions, all centered around you. Because that’s where my main priorities are. I’ve described it in my “why” before:

“to support and encourage you in your personal development so that you can achieve the success you aspire”.

Your success within the scope of collaborations, strategic alliances & partnerships, after all, in the collaborative business era no one can go it alone!

One of my decisions as a result of working on the business this summer is that I want to spend even more time to help you achieve your success. To make that possible I needed to free up more of my own time and thus I’ve started to extend my team, handing over more tasks to them.

My assistant has already taken over more planning work and is now inviting guests for a new series of podcast interviews, my research assistant is writing a number of new alliance case studies and my editor is reviewing my upcoming book (stay tuned!).

To ensure that I use that freed up time fully to your benefit, I would love to learn more about you and what keeps you busy. I will use your input to focus the creation of my content and offerings specifically on your needs.

Please click here to answer a simple short survey
(it will only take you about 5 to 10 minutes).

The survey allows for an anonymous response, but when you leave your name and email address before September 1, I will send you a free PDF copy of my upcoming book!

Thank you and enjoy your week!
